Australia is home to some of the world's most venomous animals. From snakes and spiders to jellyfish and octopuses, there are plenty of creatures that can inflict a painful or even deadly sting or bite.
According to Australian Geographic, the top 10 most venomous animals in Australia are:
- Inland taipan
- Coastal taipan
- Tiger snake
- Russell's viper
- Death adder li>Sydney funnel-web spider
- Redback spider
- Blue-ringed octopus
- Box jellyfish
- Lion's mane jellyfish
These animals are all capable of delivering a potentially fatal bite or sting. If you are ever bitten or stung by one of these creatures, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
