Minneapolis, MN - Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch was forced off the court in the fourth quarter of Sunday's playoff game against the Phoenix Suns after colliding with point guard Mike Conley.

Finch was seen holding his knee after the collision and was helped off the court by team staff. He did not return to the game.

A Timberwolves assistant coach said after the game that Finch was being evaluated for a lower-body injury. He was seen using crutches after the game.

The incident occurred with just over a minute remaining in the game and the Timberwolves leading 117-113. The Timberwolves held on to win 124-116, but the victory was overshadowed by Finch's injury.

The Timberwolves will now play the winner of the series between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs.
